Coordinator’s Report: Flagstaff Schools Visit (Mthontsasa Circuit)

Our Mini Cricket/Youth and Schools Coordinator recently visited 11 schools in Flagstaff (Mthontsasa Circuit), where a coaching clinic was conducted alongside the handover of cricket equipment.

The coaches demonstrated a high level of enthusiasm and a willingness to learn the fundamentals of cricket, with the intention of transferring this knowledge to learners within their respective schools.

The coaching clinic was a success, and there is strong potential for the introduction of mini cricket programmes across the participating schools. Ongoing support will be provided to assist with implementation.

The session was further strengthened by the attendance of three school principals, reflecting positive leadership support for cricket development in the area.
