Kei Cricket Hosts Successful Provincial Coaches’ and Managers’ Meeting

On Sunday, 21 June 2026, Kei Cricket hosted its Provincial Coaches’ and Managers’ Meeting at Khaya Majola Oval. The meeting brought together coaches, managers, and cricket development personnel from across the province to align plans and strategies for the upcoming cricket season.

The session commenced with a welcome and introduction by Mr. J.N. Ngqasa, followed by an address from Cricket Services Manager, Mr. Dumisa Makalima. Discussions focused on key areas aimed at strengthening cricket development and improving programme delivery throughout the province.

A significant part of the meeting was dedicated to presentations from coaches responsible for the U13, U16, and U19 boys’ and girls’ teams. Coaches presented their squad structures, seasonal plans, and development programmes, providing insight into preparations for the season ahead.

The meeting also highlighted the hosting of National Weeks and Regional Weeks, emphasizing the importance of collaboration, planning, and readiness among all stakeholders. Managers’ roles and responsibilities were discussed to ensure effective support systems for players and coaching staff throughout the season.

The gathering served as an important platform for engagement, strategic planning, and knowledge sharing, reinforcing Kei Cricket’s commitment to developing young talent and strengthening cricket structures across the region.
