600 National Youth Service (NYS) Phase 5 Opportunities Available Across the Eastern Cape
Kei Cricket, in partnership with Cricket South Africa, is proud to announce the launch of the National Youth Service (NYS) Phase 5 Programme, creating 600 employment opportunities for unemployed young people across communities in the Eastern Cape.
The programme forms part of Cricket South Africa’s continued commitment to youth development, community upliftment, education support, and the growth of cricket at grassroots level. Through NYS Phase 5, young people will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience while making a meaningful contribution to their local schools and communities.
Recruitment is focused on applicants who reside close to the schools and facilities where they will be placed, ensuring accessibility and long-term community impact.

Placement Areas
The NYS Phase 5 Programme will be implemented across multiple Kei Cricket regions, including Mthatha, Tabase, Payne, Mqanduli, Centane, Butterworth, Dutywa, Ngqeleni, Port St Johns, Lusikisiki, Bizana, Mount Frere, Ntabankulu and Elliotdale.
A total of 600 participants will be placed across schools, cricket hubs and community facilities to support sport development, academic support programmes and facility management initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
* Be South African citizens.
* Be between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
* Be unemployed.
* Have passed Grade 8 or higher.
* Have no criminal record.
* Have an interest in sport, coaching, tutoring, education or community development.
Application Process
Applications can be submitted through the SA Youth Mobi platform or via WhatsApp by sending a complete CV.
Applicants are reminded that all supporting documents must be submitted as one complete document, as incomplete or multiple submissions may not be considered.
To ensure effective programme delivery, applicants should only apply for placements that are within walking distance of their place of residence.
