Club Cricket
Kei Club Cricket comprises a competitive Premier League featuring ten teams: Fighters, Tabase,
Nomandi, WSU NMD, Eagles, WSU Ibika, Wild Coast, Qaukeni Cricket Club, Amathole, and Alfred
Nzo. This structure fosters strong regional participation and competitive excellence across multiple levels
of the game.
Women’s cricket is actively contested within the OR Tambo and Alfred Nzo districts, contributing to the
continued growth and visibility of the women’s game. In addition, vibrant junior leagues operate across
OR Tambo, Alfred Nzo, and Amathole, ensuring sustained talent development from grassroots level.
Kei Cricket has established a Junior Boys Club League in the OR Tambo, Alfred Nzo, and Amathole regions as part of its long-term development strategy. This league functions as a key feeder system for the Premier League, ensuring early talent identification, competitive exposure, and sustainable player progression within the Kei Cricket pipeline.
Collectively, Kei Cricket offers a comprehensive and inclusive pathway, nurturing players from junior
development through to senior premier league competition.
